hey guys I'm trying to get a grasp on the noise level of the muffler delete. Stock idling behind the car is about 86-89 dB

Can someone check the noise dB on their hellcat after muffler deleted standing about 3 ft behind the trunk? Just download an app for your phone is the easiest thing.

    Thanks!

It's very loud on a cold start up. If it's been sitting a few days, even louder.

Warm idle is just a little bit louder than factory, but you can hear a lot of the subtle nuances of big power.

In gear warm idle, it's a bit louder, but not annoying. Exactly what I feel how a 707hp retro classic car should sound like. Enough to say, there's something here, but not enough to tell the entire parking lot.

    Cruise it's nearly the same.

Heavy throttle has a lot more sound, and pop.

    Full throttle will summon demons.

Will have to get someone to do the exterior dB. sgoyal

So, surprising results when comparing idle with and without mid-mufflers from the interior (thanks to sgoyal for the without mids dB tests):

At idle With mid-Mufflers (interior) - average decibels (peak average 69dB):
    Default Mode - 65 dB
    Sport Mode - 65dB
    Track Mode - 65dB

At idle Without mid-Mufflers (interior) - average decibels (peak average 70dB):
    Default Mode - 69dB
    Sport Mode - 57dB
    Track Mode - 57dB

At idle With mid-Mufflers (exterior) - average decibels (peak average 85dB)
    Default Mode - 83dB
    Sport Mode - 83dB
    Track Mode - 83dB
