I just had a deal for a 2015 Charger Hellcat fall apart through no fault of my own. i was suppose to pick it up Monday. It was for 1k over msrp. The GM said he could have a 2016 Charger ordered and there in 3-4 weeks. I really wanted a 2015 but this late in the game, I don't think I can find another at that kind of price. Is there any chance they could get me the car in the time frame they claim. Should I even bother with them? They just ruined Austin City Limits for me.

Did you have a Priced Order Confirmation (or any other contract from the dealer), in hand, in your name?

If you did, then you should escalate with FCA.

No, no paperwork. I called on Tuesday and we agreed to terms over the phone. They did take my deposit and set up the financing. All I had to do was sign on Monday

The owner of the dealership said they could not sell the car. He wanted it for himself I guess.

It takes 3-4 weeks just to ship it. Let alone get in line and build it.

Sorry for you. There are many that have been treated this way and worse.
Most of the time someone offered him a larger check.

That's what I was thinking. I wish they would have made a decision before they sent me pictures of it being delivered.

Landers in Bossier City were awesome to work with, try calling them. They move quite a few Cats. My brother and I both got our cats from them. Ask for Scott or Thom.

I'll start the search on Monday. I've emailed at least 30 dealerships but it hasn't been a focused search. I go back and forth between the charger and challenger.

Thanks to everyone for the support. I just needed to vent last night and my wife doesn't get it.

Sorry to hear of the crap you had to deal with. Buying a car is a hassle enough, but a HC takes things to a new level. The car is certainly worth getting, but almost everyone has had their ups and downs in their HC pursuit......which seems to be the norm. You are not alone in this frustrating process and make sure to visit the forum often. Lots of good info here to help make your HC ownership a reality. Thanks for joining us and welcome to the forum.;)
