Hello everyone this is my first post on this forum, although I've been lurking for a long time. I have been pursuing a Hellcat for a year now, including 2015 model year dealer order debacle, and have been on top of list for 2016 model since October at my dealer.
Now here is my issue, since October my dealers allocation has been for an automatic only, no manuals in Oct, Nov, and now December. My only order specifications were color (PCP) and manual transmission.
My question is has anyone heard of this? or could this be dealer BS?
I have been in the SRT family for long time and have purchased two GCSRT from this dealer, so not sure if they would be playing games.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

PCP M6's located using the official Dodge website. I hear PCP may not be available after December...?

It is my understanding that allocations have been transmission-specific for 2016. I'd jump on the A8, but I know it's personal preference.

I probably will go with A8 although wasn't my first choice. I am surprised that factory dictates transmission in allocation.

That's what FCA took away from 2015.

In order to spread the allocations out they mandate the power train.

If you want an M6 PCP go to another region.

Thanks for the intel. I have the A8 and am very happy with it. I do use the paddle shifters from time to time so you can get a bit of an M6 ish feel. Of course, personal preferences vary. Good luck and pix when you finally score a HC.;)

They do dictate. It's part of their cleanup act and it seems to be working as they are actually delivering cars this year in a much smoother fashion than last year.

Everybody has their preference but don't discount the A8. If you haven't driven one see if you can find a Scat Pack or SRT392 with the A8 just to get the idea.

I've had the good fortune to drive both and while I'd be thrilled to own either one the A8 is a gem. Much better than any automatic I've ever experience in the past.

My local dealer had an A8 Dec allocation and had to work a swap deal to get me my PCP M6. This required a switcharoo with another dealer with an M6 allocation who wanted an A8, outside the region via the district rep. A chess game of sorts that is still in progress but it seems that most dealers I've been speaking with have received A8 allocations. FCA appears to be overcompensating for the lack of A8 in the MY2015 perhaps. If you really want a PCP M6, I would move fast to secure one via phone using the website inventory search. Good luck to you - hope you land a PCP M6 just like you want.

Good luck getting the car that you want. I've always been a straight shift guy myself but I (wife involved in this) decided to give the A8 a try
after reading so many good things about the A8. They WERE hard to get. My dealer got 4 cats. Mine was the only A8 until the first 2016
showed up (A8) All of the previous cars ordered by them were A8 but the orders were held up until they changed the order on 3 of them
to the M6. Last week my salesman told me that NOW all he can get are the A8 cars????

    Go figure?

Best of luck to you, the PCP M6 cars are out there but if you want to be the first guy to fart on those new seats, you should hurry!

LOL... I don't know if I'd go that far. It's been sitting there over 2 weeks, so I'm sure they want some ADM (I didn't ask.... I was only interested in my order, and they told me they had it for 2 weeks back on the 3rd. They also said if it was an Auto it'd be gone already. Heh )

Oh... and it has the Nappa Seats (black / suede interior)
