Hello all. I have a question. The dealer is the name in the sold to on the POC instead of mine. Does this mean anything? Also, I have seen on the window sticker from other members that it says this car was built for.... With the name. Does this mean that my name would not be on the sticker? Because I am plan on keeping this car and would like everything personalized if possible. Thanks

On my POC in the bottom left it has my name and address listed. At the top it has sold to listed as the dealer I purchased from.

No. My customer name and address is blank. Could that be changed without effecting the order? I know changing options can screw up and you need a new VON????

Should be good if you are under the Customer Name. That's what mine has.

What is written next to Scheduling Priority? Mine says 1- Sold Order. My guess is that they did not enter it as a sold order. I would ask them to update the order. I do not think that you will get your name on the window sticker the way the order is entered.

If they have allocations, and ordered you a car,, and your name is on the poc,, your name should show up on the sticker... srt said my name was not assign to my car, but my poc said sold to me, and when my car showed up, my name was on the sticker, which they are ordering me a new one cause mine is tour..you should be fine

Unless your name appears on the POC, you may be opening yourself up for a pissing contest when the car comes in. There have been a number of reports on this site where the Dealer reniged on the deal and opened the car up for bids. Does having your name on the POC proctect you 100%, no, but it helps.

There are some shady dealers, but if the poc has a vin, and you have a copy, then you should be ok, I would have to come down to trusting the dealer, mine was sold at msrp, ordered opening day, but they did say that if I don't want the car there is ten people in line waiting for me to say no, there was a guy calling everyday that had 5grand just take my order..

My name was on the POC and no where else until I picked up the car and the salesman brought me their copy of the window sticker where it said built for MY Name.

My dealer who I do actually trust (not sure exactly why but I do) said the last 2 orders placed including mine, the system would not allow them to put the customer name??? Who knows. But I have the car for sticker and I spoke wth the gm when I put down the down payment and I do think it will be mine regardless. But I do want the window sticker to say my name.
