My dealer who I have become personal friends with since buying my Hellcat called me today and let me know he got his second Hellcat Challenger allocation from Dodge. This is only the second one he has been able to get since this whole thing started. He does not have a waiting list because they would not take a deposit without an allocation. The dealer is located in a small town an hour north of Pittsburg, PA. The car can be ordered to your specs but will have a manual 6 speed trans. It would be model year 2015. It will be sold at MSRP with $1000 deposit down to place the order if it's like my deal. He called me because he knows I am on this forum all the time and I have shared people's frustrations with him.

If you want to order a car to your specs at MSRP PM me and I will put you in touch with him. I get nothing out of this deal what so ever other than hopefully connecting a someone who wants a car with a real chance to get one. I am sure if you wanted to fly in to Pittsburg he would arrange for you to get picked up at the airport.

My dealer sent me a similar message this morning. A 2015 Challenger M6 allocation that they must find a buyer for soon ...or lose it. I haven't been able to get pricing info yet. Was waiting to post when more info became known.

Anyone noticing a trend? Lots of M6 cars need buyers..... because no one wants them.

I'm sure all will sell, but dealers who don't end up getting theirs until August or September I think will get stuck with a car they won't even get MSRP for.

I think your right, for all these people bitching about not getting a car there hasn't been much interest in this post. Last chance to get a sublime green car.

Yeah I've found several stick cars for MSRP, they are out there...A8 is a different story called Heartache.

Because people are going away from manuals across all car platforms. Add in the cost of this car and most are not going to "settle" for something they don't really want to drive. I'm still pretty young, and even I'm over the rowing gears crap.

Called that in august when spoke to Mark Trostle at Mopar Nats. These are drag cars... Autos are faster. Told him the a8 would outsell the manuals. Also told him he was crazy if he thought they would only sell 5000.

Doesn't matter what color it is or even if it's $10K OFF sticker, what's the point if your knees are crap & you can't drive the thing !
I sold my Turbo 300ZX that I put a lot of work & go fast toys into because it was too uncomfortable to drive and became garage jewelry.

I would LOVE to be able to row this beast, but it's just not an option for me.

Is there anyway any of you gentlemen could find out if they will sell the car for invoice?

They will not sell for invoice. I don't think dealers are that desperate to sell a Hellcat yet regardless of what transmission is in the car. They won't have any trouble selling the car for MSRP.
