I've spent the last couple days emailing dealers that had the exact car I want and they all refuse to budge on the over MSRP. Not sure how some of you guys are doing it.

Thought I had one today, not too far from me, dude refused to lower a dime. He wanted 4k over, not too bad, but then less on my trade. A day wasted emailing back and forth.
Same thing yesterday. Exact car at another dealer even closer. So they are out there, just more $$ than you expect.

I have one on order but getting antsy.
Oh well, one of these days my VON will be a VIN I guess.

Call Pete Peterson at Dodge of Burnsville in Minnesota.....small family owned dealership. Tell him that Piston Pete referred you and you will be taken care of with msrp pricing and no bs. 952-894-9000

Just keep trying, mine happened in just a few days after I started looking. There are good dealers out there but they are few and far between. Maybe at the end of the month they will try to move them to make room for the next allocation

have you looked 500-1000 miles or are you just looking local.......seems like your trying local since the only 2 you mention are nearby

odds are very slim your local dodge dealer will be the lucky one

are you option specific? are you willing to take any options?

the more open you are the better....the more cars your able accept the better

all i wanted was a A8 sublime...i was open to all options.....i actually wanted stripped, but got loaded

if you have 2 color choices the better....if your color choice is a rare one your most likely going to search a while

i found mine for msrp 3 weeks ago after 3 days of looking...it took 4 phone calls to get them from $15k adm to $5k to $2k to MSRP...i still have dealers calling me back daily...had 3 today alone

they are trying to sell these cars.....trying for ADM......slooooowly they will all realize adm days are over already

you need to be the guy they realize it with.....find as many as possible that fit your ideal car and call them weekly...keep offering msrp....make it clear that morally you will NEVER pay ADM.......take the possibility away from them that they can bargain you up a few grand

i recommend looking in the upper 1/2 of the country (where its winter)...also smaller dealerships.....i got mine from a tiny dealer in MI....350 miles away....i was willing to fly up to 1300 miles away if necessary

i knew i found my dealer when the salesman was willing to negotiate...most were a holes and said price is solid, no negotiation....which is BS because thats what buying a car is....if a dealer says words like that to you wipe them off your list.....they are A holes

Hard to find a Billet Silver A8 all the ones I called on are sold orders White would be my next color but Silver I would jump on. But I am in no hurry I just search daily kind of a game can be fun and frustrating at the same time.

Where in Mich did you get yours Huggy? I was soo lucky to find mine 50 miles away. Still can't believe I got it coming. Cleaning my spot in the garage after I come back from the Auto Show. This time I will be walking around like a cocky mofo. Wish I had a Hellcat t-shirt that fit!

if he's looking for silver or white that would explain the difficulty...black should be the easiest..seems like 50% of HC's are black

silver and white are probably the 2 least produced colors

    way to make it difficult....

dealerships are going to pick colors that are popular to sell...why pick an unpopular color just to sit on it...pick black and you will get 50 calls...pick silver and you will get 2 calls

    it will happen...just takes patience
