    Hello All,

I daily drive the cat and couldn't deal with the dust from the stock pads so I switched to the Powerstop Z23. The Z23 are great at minimizing dust but I don't like the pedal feel.

Has anyone tried or can recommend any other pads?

I've had the Z23's on for 11 months and love them.

I am running the Z23s and I am not professional driver... I have no problems with the pads and LOVE the lack of dust!

Porterfield R4-S. Beauties on the street, low dust but not NO dust. Works like a charm on road race tracks also. Never fade, able to dissipate the heat and treats the rotors well.

Remember usually, the ability for grip is inversely proportional to the brake dust produced.

I didn't say the Z23 didn't work or had problems, I just don't like the pedal feel (personal preference).

Thank you pivotal and DGatsby, I'll check them out. I'm fine with compromising a little dust.

Do you have part numbers for the pads? They don't seem to list our cars on their site.

I doubt the Z23's (or any pad) would produce NO dust - the pad material has to go somewhere, just that the dust does not stick to wheels nearly as much as OEM... as a non-track driver I can't really tell the difference in pedal feel on mine. I do know that I can get about 10-12 one hour cruises around town in before I can see any dust vs. 3 miles home from the car wash dusty wheels with the OEM pads. Those Z23's were definitely worth the $110.00 to me...YMMV..

That is correct. Rubber backing on the Z23 for quieter street use and SST backed on the Z26 for better heat dissipation for track use.

I have z26's. No issues, reduced dust by at least 85-90%. Decent feel.
