I got a notice in the mail from the National Theft Search & Recovery office. It is wanting me to register online for an anti theft tracking system. It states that it comes with anti theft protection DNA labels and decals that are able to track my vehicle back through their database if my car was stolen. It explains putting these decals on different parts of the car and that they will permanently mark the vehicle with an invisible DNA code that law enforcement can track back to me. Is this something legit? It says if I register before a certain time they will waive the $399 fee. Anyone else get this notice shortly after buying their Hellcat?

IMHO Sounds like a scam to me... $399 fee... never heard of it. How is an invisible DNA decal going to help when you don't know where the car is!

I agree it sounds like a scam. When I tried to Google it I found the website but when I attempted to open it my antivirus security wouldn't open it saying it was an unsafe site. Another site said it was a fictitious site created out of Florida in 2015.
I'm in law enforcement and I have never heard of them. If I was you I'd pass on this and if you have antivirus protection I'd forward the email to them and block it.

My Charger was fitted with Trax. It's a dealer installed device that works great. You can set parameters for alarms your vehicle leaves a certain area etc. It was 299 already installed in the car just added to the price.
