Was about to pull the trigger on a 16' PCP HC but had second thoughts at the last minute that this color would draw too much unwanted attention from others trying to race you at every opportunity, etc. I've driven a Subaru STi around before (with its giant factory wing) and I was surprised at how many idiots are out there that will cut other drivers off to try to get next to you and, as I ignore them, they then proceed to accelerate and decelerate doing things like sticking their head out of the window trying to convince me to race them. I don't race anyone on the street but it was still really annoying and can, at times, create a hazard for other drivers and myself. I also don't particularly want to be highlighted in traffic in speed traps.

Wondering from PCP owners what you experiences here? My second choice is Billet Silver which I think will draw a lot less attention. But maybe the fact that its a HC anyway, the color doesn't really matter?

When I bought B5, my wife was worried that it'd get an attention but I convinced her and she's the Happy kid now.

So far, all I've received complements and thumbs up.

I have a PCP Hellcat and I don't think I get anymore attention than a standard colored Hellcat. People who would challenge you to a race do so after they see the fender badge or the hood, not the color. Go for the PCP and you will enjoy it, I absolutely love this color.

I wouldn't worry about it, any Hellcat draws attention. So far, I haven't had any issues.

Try Redline Red... it allows you to hide in the crowd LOL:D:D:D

    It's a HELLCAT...badging...exhaust note...supercharger whine...don't expect to go unnoticed

funniest thing that happened to me was the guy in a work truck doing the human zoom thing with his arm hanging out the window trying to take a pic while he was drifting into my lane:eek::eek::eek:

REDLINE RED is the 2nd best color ever developed by a manufacture. I loved it on my Durango. Very hard to go unnoticed with a vehicle that color.

Actually, the PCP color itself is sort of subtle. If you are not a purple fan to begin with, it alone does not draw looks from most people. This is what I have found over a 29 year period of owning an in violet plymouth from the 70's. Hearing you coming is a whole other story and does not matter what the color is.

Don't forget the police if you have a tendency to drive in a spirited manner:rolleyes:. That's one of the reasons I got the Ivory White.;)

I daily drive my Sublime Hellcat... I'm starting to get worried because I drive like an azzhole. 11k miles and climbing. I typically hit 110-140 mph on a daily occurrence.

I'm really not sure if the color attracts attention since I'm never going slow enough for anyone to pull up next to me. Real talk.

(Although I have had some try to keep up)

Slap a few of these on in place of the Hellcat emblems and tell them the supercharger whine is just a bad wheel bearing.

In the good old days, I used to say the rough idle was caused by a spark plug wire pulled off.:D

If you don't want the attention then forget about a Hellcat and buy a Prius....
