Good morning Hellcat world. I have my VON. Once I get my VIN, does that guarantee build for model year 2015?

I agree nothing is guaranteed....but once you get a VIN I'd bet a good chunk of change that you are locked in for the 2015 model year. *note this is based on nothing other than my gut....and my gut is getting pretty big so it must be right*

Getting a Vin# is the first step. Going D is step 2. Flipping D1 is the Key!! Then you will get a Hellcat built!

It appears that D1 has two parts. My car went D1-Gateline Schedule Dec. 5th. On Dec. 10th it changed to D1-Scheduled for build. On Dec 10th I wast given future ETA's on Event Dates which included Railcar & delivery time to dealer. In my case the ETA's where missed but was told my car will be built the week of Jan 5th.

My car was ordered on opening day. Two weeks later I was D1. During the 3 months between then and the car getting built I went back to D twice. Eventually the car got built. It was originally scheduled for delivery on 12/22. Merry Christmas right! That date came and went with no car. Currently the car is on a truck from Niagra Falls to the dealer in PA. Maybe it shows today but we will only know when the truck pulls into the lot. The point is, this process is full of delays, frustration, and little to no knowledge or communication on Dodge's part as to what is going on. It doesn't stop once the car gets built. The shipping process is the same. Get used to it. Dodge has shown no interest in addressing these issues.

If they offer 850, then I will mod my car to what they have done,, it's not like there going to reengineer the motor,, only tweak some things

They just need to throw on a huge rear spoiler, that oughta add at least 150hp right?
