I'm in the market for some door sill protection.

I live at the beach with lots of sand and need something to protect that door area.
I wonder if some inexpensive eBay film would work? Anyone ever used any? 6" x 60" Auto Clear Door Sill Or Door Edge Paint Protection Film Vinyl Sheet

The Mopar metal style I used in my Ram truck offered limited protection but may be better than nothing.

The Richard Petty protectors look nice

    Whats working for you folks?

I've got 3M paint protection film there and I put the Challenger sill guards over that just because I like the look. The film will protect this area and if it gets damaged over time (scuffed whatever) just replace it.

I have the Mopar sill protectors. I got the 2013 protectors, as they extend and curl down over the edge of the sill, and the 2015 protectors just lay in the middle of the sill.

When I had the nose cone done with Xpel film, I had Jays Detailing of SA do the door sills (thresholds). He wrapped it down the sides too. The sill protectors just protect the top IMO.

What did that run you, to just put xpel as door sills? Getting all my stuff done Monday and I think the clear protection is the way to go if it's reasonable.

Thnx! I like the way they look, also, and even better, they keep my clumsy self from scratching the sills. :D

I wish I had thought to have my 3M guy do the door sills when he did the front. Never thought about it and he is now 2 hrs away.

I like the look of all the recommendations...I may try those eBay with the Challenger logo 1st and see if I can get by with an inexpensive option.
My $.002 when you have your bra done do the entire front ( unlike 1/2 the hood like me if you have the $$ as that almost doubled my price) have your guy add some protection behind all 4 wheel areas, headlights and mirrors and yes the door sills looking back and under the door handles, but I don't do jewelry.

My thoughts exactly. I called my guy and he said it's $85 to clear bra the door sills. Not sure about the door handles. I imagine it will be similar to the $100 quote for the headlights.
