    Ok. STREET* RADIALS!

Does the street R come in a 20inch?

BC I want the best traction with a 20 to keep the stock wheels on. And maybe get some 17s or 18s for track only

I was replying to a comment that has been deleted...

The tires you have are just fine. They are the same compound as the "new" R version, which just has a little different tread for water.. I do think the M6 needs slicks for the track, though.

No, the M6 needs all the gear advantage it can get. Sidewall increase yes... 17" wheel and the 28" Hoosier slick is the M6 set up of choice

That sounds right.. their names are confusing, but they are basically the same tire, slightly different tread..

i get 3.5 0-60's with Nittos, so i dont see why not....StellasHC gets 2.9 at the track with full Slicks

3.6 is very common, but i can squeak out a 3.5 once in a while

    3.8 on stock= your good

huggytree , I don't use the slicks with the new A8.. I use the Mickey drag radials pictured.. HUGE difference between Nitto and Mickey Thompsons...

well, then your times are even better than i thought.........i assumed 10.8's were on slicks

    W O W

i will most likely try the MT's next time i purchase

i heard 1/2 the tread life with MT's

still want to know what you can do 0-60 on the street with your car???

i think i had my launch perfect 1x and then felt something odd that i think might have been wheel hop...the engine seemed to detune around 45mph and bog....still got a 4.0....but it made me wonder what just happened........wonder what is possible on the street 0-60

i felt like the street is better than the track last time i went.....but then again im not StellasHC(the ringer)
