so I am looking at getting a setup for slicks for the car. They only slicks I can find that would work are Hoosiers. The only wheels I can find that have all the correct measurments are weld. They make a 17x10 rim with 6.7 bs. I was told these fit on the hellcat. Also with my luck I would invest a grand for the two rims and Hoosier would stop making their slicks in that size. So I wanted to make sure there is at least a drag radial as a backup option. Mickey Thompson offers et street r that would fit the weld rims. The trick is rim width. 10 is the max for the Hoosier and right in the middle for the mt's. Both tires are 28" tall. This is the only rim and wheel combo I could find to fit my desire.
I did speak with Stella and was told he uses a fr500 rim that's much cheaper. However I could only find a 5x114 bolt pattern and wasn't sure if that would creat an issue over time. I really didn't want to spend so much for rims but I couldn't find any other with the exact specs needed.
I need to confirm with weld that the 17x10 rims truly fit before I buy them but this seems the setup I am heading for. I just wanted to share my research and if anyone has a cheaper solution I am all ears.

A little update. I got my wheels and tires ordered. Went with part number 76hb7100w67a weld rim. It's 17x10 with 6.7 backspace and 30mm offset. They have to build them yet so I am expecting them at the end of August. Weld verified they will fit on the hellcats.
For tires I picked up Hoosiers 28x17 slicks that are about 9.5" wide. These are the slicks I could find in size 17 rim.
Total for everything was just under $1600 shipped to me. I will post more when they get in.

If you order thru High Horse Performance they discount Welds,;) also the 17 will need shorter rear sway bar end links to clear the inner wheel, slicks only if the track prep is very poor where you race, DR's will give better ET and mph

Weld actually recommend me to hhp. However I live close to summit racing so it is a lot easier to deal with them in case I do have any issues. If he had the wheels in stock I would have got them from there as I like to support the smaller shops when possible.

What TC said. My 18’s have @ best 1 inch clearance to sway bar links, knock off .5 may be scary and nred shorter links

Stella, have you had any issues with the bolt pattern being off by one mm?

I will post of if/when I have clearence issues. Weld said they have verified these wheels to fit a stock setup but who knows. I wanted to have a slick option as most times at the strip the track is not very well prepped. Also if I am not happy they will still take the new MT dr.

Well here is my update. I just got the wheels today and they don't fit. The inside lip hits the sway bar. I am not sure how sway bar end links would help with clearence. The length of the sway bar is what is causing the fitting issue. I contacted summit racing and they already sent me return labels and refunding me full purchase price and shipping cost. So I am just out of my time dealing with the waiting process. I am disappointed but I was told by others on here it may not work. I will contact Weld tomorrow and let them know too. As I stated I did ask weld twice prior to purchase and the said the rims would work. Oh well.

Is the sway bar hitting with the car and rear tire hanging on a jack (no load)? If so when it goes to ride height with a load on tire will probably clear sway bar. Everybody runs a 17x9 with no problems unless offset is out of wack, like less than 18mm You can run a 18x10.5 with 22mm offset.
