    Hey fellow hellcat friends,
I am hoping to get my hellcat by the end of this month. The first thing I am wanting to do is buy street/drag racing rear tires for it. I know this is a big expense but so is $600.00 street tires that comes on the hellcat. Why not invest in tires that are made for burning up and can handle the launch.
I took a ride in a hellcat this weekend here in Dallas Tx at the Dodge Montly crue Gas monkey Garage and the car spins all the way down the track.
Any ideas where to buy some good street slicks/street tires??

I personally would like to make sure the rear end, half shafts, bla bla bla in the drivetrain will hold up to the power so for now I will keep the street tires. Once several of you have ran the sticky tires with out problems I will consider it. But I would rather spin than break stuff or bend up things

That was my concern with my '09 SRT8.
They ran the Hellcats with DRs repeatedly, so I'm less concerned with the drive shafts/half-shafts than the transmission. The 8-speed is near it's max with this engine - even though they beefed it up from the stock configuration. But the time to "wear sticky sneakers" is during the warranty period.

I know this is an old thread but I was interested in some more sticky rear tires. I went to the Nitto website for this particular tire, input my car's specs and the website said there were no tires to fit the 2016 HC. Can someone please educate me on what size tires work and if the stock Brass Monkey rims work or will I have to put new wheels on the rear to use drag radials?

    Thank for the education!
