    Hey friends
I wanna put drag / street tires on my new hellcat when it arrives.
Does anyone know what would be the widest tires u can put
    On the 20" wheel.
I would like to go wider in the backend.
Would I have to buy new wheels to go for a wider tire ?
If so , what would you guys advise ?
    Thank u !
    Mark

Hey crazy C , thank you very much for the info. It's very helpful !!!
I am new to this kinda power and totally ignorant to tires , wheels and proper fit. I really appriciate your help.
Would you stay with the stock tires and size ,
Put drag radials on or change tire size ??
What would crazy C do ??? Lol
    Thank you

Geez... Stereo not loud enough and car not fast enough. What were you driving before?! lol if you're still breaking in your car, it's probably too early to say; If you've already been on it, maybe you need some better traction. You got the A8 too, didn't you? Even faster.

I'm also concerned about traction... I am likely getting the M6. For safety reasons I want more but I also know that more traction off the line will put more strain on the tranny/clutch. I am considering the 305/35s but I want to learn more about any potential distortion in the sidewalls and at middle of the tire track. I know Dodge did some modification to the body to fit some wider tires (than the regular 20x9 challenger wheels; saw it in a video interview)... So maybe people here will have good luck going to a bigger rim/tire combo without rubbing. This car definitely needs at least a good 12" tire width at the back.

Hey, for the last six month, or maybe Five, I have heard and watch, and read everything there is about the hellcat, that's why I paid 65K for my car so I could have a fast car..I'm sure its fast but, my thoughts, I thought it would be more kick you back in the seat fast, It may have something to do with tires. Please don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the car, but I will being doing some Mods to it, Tires, and some ecm stuff,,Pulley, I will not be changing the supercharger, or going into the engine, Wife will put me out if I spend to much on the car,, But I'm like others, can leave stock..

It was a cheap mod,,less then 50 dollars...Im pretty limited as what I can do until the aftermarket people come up with something,, No headers yet,, No pulleys yet. No CAI yet.. Tires I will be getting over winter,, I was thinking Super sport 3..Good all around tire, Because the car will never see the track as long as I own it... Maybe so nice hard take offs from the light every now and then, that's it.....
