I want to mount a set of 305/45R18's on a spare set of rims for race days. I start reading info, doing searches, and calling shops for options and quotes, etc. I just don't see a lot of options. Here is what I am coming up with....

    1. Weld RTS S71- Concern here is how different they look from OEM front wheels.
    2. Bravado Tribute- Concern here is whether a wheel this inexpensive will stay together.
    3. Triumph- Concern here is these may require a second mortgage on my house to pay for them.

Are there some good wheel options that I am missing?

If you only want them for race day... go with the Weld's... bolt the stockers back on when you want to hit the streets. If you need more traction for the street get a set of Nitto's on the stock 20's.;)

If you can get that TSW 18X10.5 wheel with a +25 to +27 offset it might be ideal. But I did not see a black color offered.

I think some members have run that Bravado wheel with good success. I think you will be OK as long as you are not cornering real hard with it. I personally would not do it. I have had 2 sets of the Bravado Tributes with Drag radials mounted and that is a really good quality wheel in person, but it is cast. I ran them on a 2015 SRT392.

Why not run the Weld S77. It might look more like stock. You could get it for $700 or possibly less if you shop around.

Here is a pic of the Bravados mounted with a ET Street R.

I put Forgelines on my Hellcat and there were not many compromises but like you said, they were big bucks. 5.jpg INBOX6516468250bc516ab6e967f49fdd5dddddd7a[1].jpg BEST SIDE.jpg BACK WHEEL.jpg

They are Rotary Forged. They are plenty strong.

One problem I have become aware of.

Les Schwab delivered to me 5X114.3 rims instead of 5x115. The receipt said 5x115 but I just realized they are stamped 5x114.3. The website says the make 5x115 so I have to go back to Les Schwab to see what happened & see if they will make it right.

No problems the two days I used them Drag Racing.

You can have the factory front wheels narrowed at Weld Craft.
