Good article on shafts, to me steel looks to be best/cheapest, but need to know how much the aluminum one is. It saves 1.5 pounds per foot over steel.

For those who put in a DSS shaft how long is it flange to flange on a Challenger? Has anyone done a Charger HC yet? If so how long is it?

Are the stock Hellcat Drive Shaft's, that seem to be a bit weak for our cars, made of steel or aluminum?
And if Steel, is it that they are just not thick enough for the power the Hellcat makes?

We did a Charger aluminum shaft not too long ago, first one the DSS made, 68" from flange to flange, I believe the Challenger is a little shorter. We are a dealer for the DSS, aluminum shafts at a 10% discount would be $810 shipping to most addresses in the US would be $60, for a total of $870 shipped for an aluminum shaft.
