We have (2) DSS 9" Rear Conversion up for grabs if anyone is interested. Both were installed into vehicles but have never been ran or left the shop for that matter so they're practically brand new(fully assembled and handled). One has a 3.25 gear, the other has a 3.90 gear. Both are equipped with the Strage 9" bolt thru cases with 33 spline Wavetracs. We have both carbon and alum driveshafts available for M6 use. These will come with their respective axles as well. No long wait time either, can ship right away.

    $5850 with Alum shaft
    $6350 with Carbon shaft

New these would run $7599 with Alum shaft or $8199 with Carbon shaft + freight.

Skip, what did the car that these came from upgrade to? Or was this a back to stock downgrade?

Skip, what is the "upgrade" get you going from the DSS to GForce set up? I am considering both.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Chris, the Gforce units feature a 35 splined axle over a 33. They also feature the Strange S-trac differential over the Wavetrac. Check out the Gforce thread under our section. The axles and rear also comes with a lifetime warranty. They're also cheaper too...

Yes, we are going to stock the GForce units. Our introductory inventory is actually in transit to us now, due in on Monday of next week. We have 4 total coming, 1 is accounted for at the moment but we'll continuously keep 3 to 4 9" Gforce rear kits here and just order/ship the driveshafts as needed per application since we'll need 3 variants for lengths/fitment. We'll be stocking 3.00, 3.25 and 3.90 ratio equipped Strange HD Pro Aluminum case assemblies w/Strange S-trac 35 spline LSDs as well. The remaining ratios will be ordered as needed but come very quickly from Strange.

What's the Best and optimal Gear Ratio for A8 -- I know most of us went with Mopar 3.09 earlier...

Skip I like what I am seeing. I have a 2011 challenger with a DSS CF driveshaft currently. First, do you have center sections for the 2011 in stock?2nd can I keep my existing CF DS to reduce costs?

Also building up a spare hellcat shortblock. We should probably talk about options that are out there. :)

Really depends on the use. Some A8 guys are going with 3.00 and others are going with 3.25 ratios for 1/8 and 1/4 mile use.

We do not have one for an '11 in inventory but I'm sure we can get one whipped up for you in no time at all. The DSS shaft will not work with the 9" rear conversion. You'll need a diff shaft to work with the rear yoke.

Got ya covered on the HC engine build. Give us a shout any time and we'll go over the plan. ;)
