having one installed this weekend on my 15' A8. Says there is some type of exhaust mod that may be necessary for the drveshaft install??? Anybody know what that may be? First I've heard of this.

I ran into rubbing issue since my exhaust pipes were little weird One going straight and other on angle. So the straight pipe interfere with DS. So we had to modify or beat up little bit.

I know a few had to modify their exhaust slightly because the shaft was touching. Someone just took a hammer and made a small dent in the exhaust pipe. I did not have to modify anything when I installed my alum shaft.

^^ This. I had to do same thing....

When we installed.. We had small room but it'd rub when the car would shift from gear 3 -->2-->1.. it's like car is coming low when it downshift... so we put the car on post again... took the exhaust and got the hammer out... lol

I had no problem, but we dropped down to a 3 1/2 inch Ds instead of 4 inch. Still has guarantee over 1000 hp. I have had no trouble, WILES does good work and has been building for HP race cars for a long time.
