Has anyone encountered this problem? I have about 20 DVD audio discs that played well in my 2011 SRT Challenger. Just got my new 2016 Hellcat, trying to figure out a way to play these enhanced discs. Anyone?

Give it a chance. CD's are a dying breed lol. Once you have music on ur phone or an SD card or even an ipod, you'll never want CD's again. Initially i was disappointed with no CD player, but now i get it lol. No fumbling around changing them, wondering where this one went, scratching them lol.
Dont miss em a bit. Really is a better way.

I'm so technically behind the times, it's terrible! How do you get music on your phone. I have an iPhone, but I have no idea how to download music on iTunes.

Lol dont feel bad. Theres a learninng curve but the payoff is tremendous. Once you set it up the first time, adding songs is easy. Hell you wont even use a wire to conect, the car will see your phone and just play wherever you left off if you leave it on that setting.

I use DVD Audio Extractor to rip DVD-A and BluRay audio to 2-channel .wav files. For BluRay with BD+, use MakeMKV to decrypt and copy, then DVDAE to rip.
U-Connect does not appear to be capable of playback of anything but stereo, and then only .mp3 [up to 384kbps], m4a [limited to 276kbps], and .wav [upper limit appears to be ~3000kbps] formats. Doesn't even recognize .mlp, .mkv, .aif, .fla, .dts. .ac3, .ogg, .au, and a few others.
ALAC [1411kbps .m4a] files are recognized, but don't even bother trying, very bad
6-Channel WAV files cause U-Connect to go into a crash and boot loop.
Mono WAV file playback is hilarious, had to try, like speaker roulette, never know which speaker or speakers you'll get sound from
You'll also need to downres any 176 or 192 KHz stereo to 96 KHz or lower, not sure why, but this great system we have doesn't like 'em
Nice way to downgrade, thanks Dodge! All they needed to do was take the '08-'10 system, upgrade the disc player to BluRay [or leave it as is], add an SD card port, and all would have been good

Now, Now, When they gave us Sirius XM we were supposed to be totally satisfied with it. Just remind yourself the music the supercharged hemi makes is pure Mozart. I WANT MY DEEP PURPLE ''HIGHWAY STAR''

Plenty of car record players on ebay. Talk about keeping the retro theme.

Had a record player in my 63 Impala, and still have some 8 tracks.

Now how to get the reel to reel to stop ripping the tape when it hits 5th gear still puzzles me. Maybe in Valet mode ?
Bee Gees never sounded so good.
