It happens, especially with the white Hellcats, because many of the buildings are also painted white, so it really blends in. With the latest UConnect app's, they should be able to use GPS to eventually locate it, --such a shame if it never turns up, huh?

My guess is they got somebody local to pay whatever they wanted and then they "lost" it LOL

I know, I got the email from eBay as I was the only one that bid on it.
    Shady dealers.

It was a trick from the seller, so they did not have to pay the full listing fees from eBay. They needed to get it out of the auction. Just a guess but I bet they found a local buyer. Sorry you lost out on the bidding.

The seller can't end the auction once there is a legitimate bid on it. Despite what they write up so that is why I think they claimed a problem. If you could prove it you could turn it into eBay but who has the time for that.

I think (might be wrong) that if you have a reserve and the reserve isn't met you can cancel the auction as long as it isn't within a certain amount of time from the end of the auction.

Going from memory and I may very well be wrong but that is what I recall.

Yes if the reserve has not been met.

If you have a legitimate bid ( I would assume that met reserve)
    you cannot.

Doesn't matter what we consider a "good bid" it is defined by the seller when he puts the auction together. With his reserve price.

Well that's not true...you can end an item at any time up to the last 24 hours. I've had a ton of items ended early and they just pick one of the four options as an excuse.

Now something as big as car...hard to lose and unlikely broken...file a compliant, but expect a response saying it sold.

nothing you can do when the reserve is high. We can't see the reserve, only the buy it now. Only way to find out the reserve is to keep bidding or if the seller tells you.
