Do you think they could put a button on the steering wheel to switch in and out of Econo mode.
Then you wouldn't need to switch screens on the fly.

FYI, to leave eco mode, just double tap the SRT button and it'll go back to your custom setting. Not exactly what you are wanting but its what we got for now.

Another way to cancel ECO is to switch to any other driving mode.
Another tip, the nice green Prius type leaf icon shows in place of the Custom light on the top right of the panel in front of the driver when in ECO mode. Such a nice touch.

Uh... the Leaf is a Nissan, and it's 100% electric.

I'm really embarrassed that I know that. ;)

Tazman, thanks glad I don't know the difference. Saw some video on another Forum I responded to today. I think "Head 2 Head" used ECO to race some electric powered car again and was proud enough to have an episode showing an electric car beating some dummy driving a Charger to a 11.8 sec quarter. Don't worry folks I set 'em straight. I am sure others will see it. It struck me wrong on a lot of coffee this AM.

How does this car drive in ECO mode. Whenever I ask everybody is like "WTF is that? ECO is a Sega Genesis game from the early 90's I thought"

IMO they could place the ECO button in the trunk & have it rigged to only activate if pushed with the car going > 25 mph ..................

I have been getting about 20 mpg in Eco mode. I sit in a lot of stop and go traffic and red key mode doesn't matter.

That is it. I know it is being a wuss saying you are using it, but you can't use 100 hp sometimes. I think it makes it much easier to drive among others. But let traffic thin out, and screw it! Also, if you are crushing down the road, why not use it with the cruise set? If you have not tried there is still plenty of passing power in ECO. Damn near still rules the road!

AND I came back from out of town, dropped the girl off Friday for the door repair and can't get it until tomorrow! I am about ready to scream. But as expected, they say it is PERFECT.
