Well we finally stumbled on one of the functions of this piece of work,LOL last night we were testing at MIR and we found the trans high limit on torque management, when you hit it the valve opens dropping boost to 4 psi as a safe mode, no codes were thrown and trans shifted fine it just didn't like the 900 ft lbs plus TQ it was getting, something for AJ and Josh to get around this weekend.........

It did the same thing on the dyno to us a few times. Went from 10lbs down to 3. I know AJ said it was something to work on figuring out. At about 4-4.5k rpm's it would just fall flat on its face. No codes or anything either.

And if it doesn't close all the way I wonder if this is why 10 boost only:(
I wonder if there's a basic setting for this valve via scan tool.

Is this happening because you changed the boost by reducing the Blower pulley or am I misunderstanding?

In our case it was the amount of nitrous we added.

As far as I know, boost wasn't changed when we had car on dyno. AJ would be the one that knows.

    B5,

I am jealous, you are getting some serious track time in your Charger under your belt, going to give the fastest color a workout (you know what color that is, big brother black).

Hey TC, have you raised the rev limiter yet? I would like to see where the power band starts to drop off?

Just like on the Cummins 6.7s. ElectronicTorque management to protect transmissions (stick/automatic), driveshafts and differentials. I am surprised it took this long to discover. FCA is really big into that type of "protection"...
