Hi, I need some advice/help about my coolant level. A little back history..I overheated and lost all my coolant at 250 miles due to stuck thermostat. Dealership fixed and said only thermostat was replaced and that there were no busted hoses or anything. They said they performed a coolant leak test and no problems found. I've been monitoring my temps religiously since and everything seems fine.

Last week I changed my oil and noticed the coolant level was down about an inch below the lower fill line. So I went and bought some coolant at the dealership and filled it up exactly to the lower fill line. The service manager said to keep an eye on it. So today I checked my oil and noticed the coolant level had dropped about a quarter inch. I've only drove the car twice since re-filling coolant and maybe have put 100 miles on it.

    Edit;I'm at 1070 miles now.

My question is ...is it normal for the system to use a slight amount of coolant or should I take it in to get checked? I noticed a good bit of condensation in the reservoir is that normal as well? Thanks in advance. HC_Coolant1.jpg HC_Coolant2.jpg

It appears you have a leak. I'd have it checked.
