Stopped by a Chevy dealership to pick up a key fob for my son's vehicle and asked a mechanic where to park for the parts dept (spots weren't marked) and the first thing out of his mouth was "is that a Hellcat?" After I revved it a few times I said "yes it is." He them said "you can park it by my bay I'll watch it."
As I get out of my car I notice all the mechanics start walking out and start asking to take pics and to hear the engine again. I heard one tell the other "that's the corvette killer." :D;)

REAL car guys, are car guys... not fan boys!

They enjoy the engineering of the product... they aren't hung up on whose product it is! ;)

Right on 4510. All I have to do is hear something that sounds bad and I'm looking for it. And a car guy will always want to know more about it without the snide remarks to put it down.

    You can say that again!

Car enthusiasts dig the car...not the brand! Great post!

Cars guys are car guys. Most all of us have a preference in brand but can almost always give credit where credit is due.

The Corvette Killer, I like it!

Had a 2015 Camaro pull out in front of me yesterday for test drive with customer and sales person. They jumped on it a little, so I passed them in a blink of an eye. They pulled up to the stoplight and both gave thumbs up to the car! Gotta love it!

Cool post. Car guys are car guys. I was never a Ford guy but that new GT350 sounds nice. I Follow Car and Driver on my Facebook, and there is a lot of cool cars out there. Lots of new innovations from all manufactures. I'm looking at the new 2016 Miata as an add on.

How do they sound? I'm not a fan of the look, but everybody doing the active exhaust thing sounds cool and I think they are revving t 8K rpm redline.

Yes. I would be lying if I said I wouldn't love to have that GT350 parked in my driveway. I mean, that thing is tits! And it's a Shelby, no shortage of buyers if one were to part ways with it (I've never sold a vehicle and have no intentions ever to).
