Stop telling people that. That makes them want it. Tell them it is ugly and slow so it stays rare :)

It would be more to my liking if they could make the paint on the bumpers match the rest of the car better.

That will never happen because paint sits differently and reflects light differently on plastic than it does metal. Every major paint manufacturer and insurance company will tell you that too.

I run a collision center. On every bumper job that we do I point out to the customer that their bumper doesn't match to begin with. Some colors are worse about it than others, but this is not a Dodge issue. It is just the way it is.

I also own a collision center, and while I agree with you to an extent they should match far better than what they do. The main reason for this problem is that the Plastic parts are provided by an outside source. Most commonly they aren't even painted with the same brand of paint.

GM and Dodge both use Axalta(formerly Dupont) :)

GM must use a different clear than Dodge......i own and have owned several GM's over the years...they never seem to swirl...and i dont use 2 buckets or micro fibers to wash.......i put 0 effort since they are basic family haulers.....while i DO baby my Ford and Dodge.....2 buckets, new microfiber mitt each time(toss out when done), new microfiber towels every year....wash sparingly......

no dirt in my Ford or any of my GM's.....no dirt on my white 2011 challenger, but some dirt on my HC....paint drip frozen in time on the wheel well of my Gt500.....no one is perfect, but Dodge has the worst paint.....

maybe Dodge gets the paint and clear that dupont scrapes off the bottom of the batch..after giving the good stuff to GM

ALL manufacturers have trash in their paint. I have to point that out to people prior to them dropping off their car when they tell me it is flawless. After 5 minutes I will point out tons of flaws. Even did it to an Aston Martin owner just a few months ago.
