I kinda want to go all out on my cat. Like get full exhaust system and supercharger pulley and cams, tune etc... But my dad says "keep it original it's enough power and the value of the car will drop."

I'm with you on the power,,I want more,, headers I won't do because of the heat they cause in the engine bay,, they double coated the manifolds to keep the heat down

Did you buy it as an investment, or to drive the "Hell" out of it?

Father knows best, but what he says probably won't make a significant difference for 20+ years. Plan to keep it that long? Its going to depreciate anyway. Do you plan to drive and enjoy or lock away in a vault for 20 years and hope that it's worth more then?

The Hellcat already comes with an IHI Supercharger pushing 11.6 lbs of boost, active-electronics TPS controlled exhaust, fully-forged rotating assembly, ...... Aside from cracking the code for the ECU and then adding a pulley and tune, what could you do to get more HP out of this motor without going "full race"?

Listen to Dad and learn how to drive this beast safely and consistently as it comes from the factory - with a 5 year, 100,000 mile warranty. If you don't wad it up before you hit the five year mark, worry about modding it then. The after-market will be loaded with options by that time, and you'll be a much better and safer driver as well.

How long have you owned it, are you already getting bored with the power the factory gave it? Do you enjoy having a factory warranty, or does that not matter? These are a couple of the biggest questions to answer before reaching your decision, by my estimation.

The Hellcat already has more power than the narrow rear wheels can put down. Work on traction, learning how to put down the power to actually use it, and beef up the parts that break when that power is consistently put to the ground (driveshaft is a weak link, but what breaks next?). I would work on those things before I give myself even more unusable power.

Then you make up your own mind, but until extra HP has been tested I would leave it alone. good luck
