I have an M6 sublime hellcat. My dad just picked up a B5 charger scat pack. I don't know if im happy for him or sad for me. We ran some 1/4 passes in his car last night and im surprised to see how close he is to me. That thing hooks up like nobody's business. Unlike my cat its a battle. These weren't track passes just old country roads. Maybe B5 is the fastest color and that's why he can hang?!? Screenshot_2015-07-21-09-08-38.png Screenshot_2015-07-21-09-13-55.png

Sounds like a driving issue to me. :) No way that Scat Pak should be anywhere near a Hellcat.

Ive been driving stick forever. I think its more trying to get the all seasons to hook up. But hell, even my MT drag radials im still sitting at 12.3 at the track. Maybe the autos in the scats and the cats are just that much of a beast.

What's your elevation? Your trap speed does look a little low.

Elevation is 904. My trap speeds at the track are 121 at 12.3. Just can't get it to hook up.

I don't have the numbers in front of me but from what I've seen A8 392s are not normally far behind M6 hellcats.

Haha yup. Very similar. I told him just imagine what he could do to his car for the extra 22k I spent for mine haha. I can't believe the discrepancy in hellcats from auto and manual. The stingrays auto vs stick isnt as far off as the hellcats auto vs stick. Im starting to see why dodge never released any M6 numbers. Everything was all about the autos and that magical 10.8 number which ill never see. Id be happy at 11.5

My all season tires spin a lot and I only have 2100 miles on them, they suck

122 isn't bad, but not too great, either. I'd think you should be 124ish. I've done 123 on the street followed up by a 119 a few weeks later in the same location, so who knows. I'm at about 750-800 elevation. My weight is surely holding us (me and the car) back a bit, but you don't look too small yourself. I'm about 285.

My M6 has been 11.6 @ 126 with a 1.97 60' time at an actual track. 800ft above sea level. They say every .1 in your 60' is good for just about .2 on your ET... A8 cars are seeing low 1.6 60' times when going high 10s in the 1/4. Im not a math major, but....

Its ALL in the first 60', ET wise. You have to be willing to get aggressive with these M6 cars.

I posted in another thread some time back that I ran my friends A8 Hellcat at the track. Every measured time down the track was within .05 of each other (60', 330', 1/8th, 1000'). I ran 11.91 and he ran 11.87, both of us with almost identical (poor)60' times and trap speed. His car has gone 10.80s with drag radials and a great 60' time in the past. Another little fun fact about our race... I picked up 26 mph on the big end vs his 24....The M6 cars WILL run right with the A8s, you just have to drive the dog shit out of them.
