Nice. That should blend right in, in your neighborhood.

I've spent a lot of time in Germany... Always makes me smile when I see a Dodge Ram pickup on the autobahn.

Nice, I'm still the only one in the KMC (Kaiserslautern area) that I know of, ha ha. However, I think it is cool that there are some HC's over here in Germany where they can actually be driven to their potential and not just on a track doing the quarter or a burn-out. Don't get me wrong, to each their own....but I'm looking forward to going to the Nurburgring with my car (after some suspension upgrades of course) and driving on the Autobahn. That is why I bought this car....

Congrats again, and your car is pretty. The purple really sets it off, the sublime really grew on me, but I didn't order my car so I was happy to get one. It took all of 3 days to get my HC, and a lot of people had to wait a long time. I guess I just got lucky. All in all, it is everything I wanted as it is just fun to drive, but I won't spoil it for you. Did you get the A8 or M6? I have an M6, and even though everyone says the A8 is better (well a lot of people do), I just didn't want a HC without a manual tranny. It wouldn't be as fun to drive for me. Good luck, enjoy the car and maybe I'll see you out there.

ENCS (now MAS) had an allocation of 6 Hellcat Challengers last year and 6 this year. Last year they went within 5 minutes of being allocated, this year they held a drawing and I got lucky. Not sure but I believe they were all sold out of Ramstein.

Mine is with the M6 because that is what hot rods are suppose to come with, same as my 09 RT that I am keeping. I have a 13 Charger RT Max with the auto and it is okay, but to me a stick is just more fun. Plus the Charger is speed limited to 130mph. Not at all fun on the autobahn when you are up against the limiter and have to move over so a freaking Opel can pass!

Check on your fuel authorization. I believe as a "gas guzzler" you should be authorized more than the standard 400 liters a month.

Congrats! I think I'd be skipping the holiday and driving the Hellcat. Once you do, it will be a holiday everyday

Certainly miss my time in Germany and wish I was back there with my Hellcat!

True that on the holiday Toolman....even the crappiest days will be made great when I open her up on the no restriction parts of the Autobahn.

I'm assuming you are correct there with the "gas guzzler" aspect. I wouldn't know yet, but sounds right. When she gets here I'l find out. M6's are the way to go in my opinion, but of course I am biased. I just have always had a manual transmission ever since I really got into getting cars that could perform at some level. Autos aren't as fun, but that A8 is legit. From what I have gathered talking to most of the "enthusiasts" and guys at Dallas's VPC there are no HC's over in my part of Germany owned by Americans. However, that is only a couple sources, and how reliable are they? I will find out when I go riding around because I am sure whoever does have one will want to talk about them with me.

I think the biggest quest for me is to see how fast this girl can go without restrictions and running out of road. I mean you see the vids of the dynos and people talking it up all day. However, they live in countries where they can't drive these cars like that or face serious jail time. I am looking to see what she can do, and document it for the world to see. Why not? If anything, I might be able to do some firsts with the car...that would be fun.

Well enjoy your vacation and your car when you get back.

Certainly do miss those open unrestricted areas on the autobahns. You'll be 4th lane trucking with the big boys...no flashing headlights in your mirrors. Plus you'll be able to keep those rice rockets at bay!

Have fun, enjoy and be safe!

Will do, I don't want to end up a news report about how someone had a HC and crashed it on the Autobahn...that would suck
