My PCP Charger came in to the dealership on February 25th, had a damaged wheel so it was not ready for delivery until early this week. My schedule was so overloaded that I was having difficulty finding a day to go get it, complicated by the fact that I was not trading anything in (I'm a CPA, it's tax season). Kudos to Daytona Dodge for making this an incredibly simple delivery process--they sent a salesman with the flatbed operator to my house yesterday afternoon, signed the papers, inspected the car--all took less than 45 minutes. Car seems to be perfect with the exception of a heavy exhaust odor, which I'm hoping will go away after a few miles. I'll post up some pix later today.

I'll be replacing my Jeep SRT with the Hellcat as my daily driver. I'm a bit conflicted about this but I'm sure a few miles in the 'Cat will help me get over it.

Atleast it was a wheel. It's hard to mess up changing one. I would of died knowing it was there and i couldn't get it.

I'll post some pix as soon as it gets back from having a fuel leak fixed. 10 frekin' miles and a nasty fuel smell coming into the car from the front vents. I can smell it on the right side of the engine. Haven't been able to take a real good look, but whatever it is, I'm through driving it until it's located and fixed. Previous threads point to a TSB regarding fuel rail issues, but those posts are from earlier in 2015. All I can say at this moment is I'm super-disappointed!!

    Congrats on the car.

Sorry to hear about the problem but don't get too upset. Hopefully it's something minor and you have the car back quickly.

There was a fuel rail issue on some cars (2015MY) but I believe that was corrected quickly.

Congrats on the purchase! Sounds like you got a dealer that goes the extra mile. Good luck with the repair.

Pics and details on findings when you get a breath from the taxes

Took 2 days and a call from FCA regional to get my car transported to the dealership. Preliminary diagnosis is a bad fuel rail, parts won't arrive for another 2-3 days. This is just not the way it's supposed to go, very disappointed so far....Hope this car isn't jinxed.

Thanks, I remember those days, that's why I moved south 30+ years ago. I do miss the summers, though.

Update, they changed the fuel rail, still having the fuel odor problem. Dealership has no idea what's wrong, they're contacting regional. Maybe I'll actually get to use it before the 2017's come out.....that is if they can fix it.
