Why change the oil so soon? I would think it would have a higher concentration of additives necessary for break in....or at least Corvettes do anyway......

Already had one forum member that had issues with their engine (broken rocker arms) and they were using Royal Purple. Not saying the oil caused the issue as it was likely a faulty engine piece, however, Royal Purple (even their current 0w-40) is not approved for use on the Hellcat. They do, however, have something in the works.

I changed the oil in Dante the first time at 1000 miles, and I used Penzoil Ultra Premium. Your mileage may vary ... both literally and figuratively. LOL!

    Check your owners manual.

PUP 0w-40 is FCA "recommended," also oils that meet Chrysler MS-12633, and that are "synthetic".

Specified oil (to meet warranty requirements) is 0w-40 API SN (see e.g. Fluid Capacities in your owners manual.)

Which is somewhat of a joke, since now I believe only Penzoil and Mopar officially carry Diamler Chrysler AG's MS spec on their packaging. Because other oil manufacturers purchase and consider that MS and many others, as that applies to our cars at least.

"Synthetic" who's definition will you use? PAEO and Ester 100% base stock oils are 100% synthetic; molecularly modified (do not exist naturally.)

PUP is made using the Group III Gas to Liquids (GtL) base oil, which is synthesized (derived) from Natural Gas, and therefore Penzoil calls it "synthetic". It is a group III base stock oil.

Popular oils currently meeting API SN (not in any particular order there could be others just examples) -

    Amsoil'signature series 0w-40,
    Red Line 0w-40,
    Motul's 8100 X-max 0W-40,
    Mobil 1 0w-40

Royal Purple 0w-40 is currently API SM they're reformulating to obtain API SN, which would place It in the same category as oils listed, that would make it meet the Hellcat's API warranty requirement (and all requirements where API SN is specified, they are NOT making a Hellcat tested specific oil.)

I'm getting mine changed Tuesday at 2,000 miles. Having tires rotated and splash guards installed at same time. I had the oil checked at 1,000 and they said I could go till 5,000 but that isn't happening for first oil change. I also want to see the spent oil and fragments just out of curiosity. I will only use Pennzoil Ultra Premium 0-40w as recommended.

I have 4500 miles and 28% left on the oil life indicator. Will change at either 20% or 5000, whichever comes first.
