i'm happy to join the community,

I bought my Hellcat before 2 weeks, i'm so upset with the rubbishy tires, couldn't floor it from 20 MPH unless making alot of smoke! I want to install wider tires that would fit perfectly on my stock wheels+ idont want even a little tire slip! So what do you recommend and which size for daily use?

    Cheers

For daily use to meet your requirement of no wheel spin at any throttle, I suggest a 1960 VW beetle or equivalent.

I suggest you trade it in on a Mustang. At 707 HP, you are going to smoke them. :)

Sorry you bought a 707 hp Hellcat it will smoke them through the first 3 gears. It isn't the tires it is the Horse power of the Cat.
Please be careful till you are used to the power of the Cat.

My apologies for making light of your question. Let me start over.

Congrats on your Hellcat! And welcome to the forum. I am sure someone on the forum will be able to help you find the correct tire you need.

learn restraint and to roll onto the throttle, its a 707 hp hellcat, not a hyundai that you can just slam the gas down on.... if you want uber traction when flooring it be prepared to drop another grand to get a drive shaft that wont twist in two like a pretzel.

If you want to minimize wheel spin you will need wider rims and drag radials ----------- lots of excellent suggestions available on this forum for the details; however, there will be some downsides to this for every day driving that you will need to consider.

If you want to improve traction over stock tires with almost no downsides you might want to take a look at the direction I have decided to go with which can be found on the SRT Hellcat Purchasing section of this forum under the Pzero Summer Tires post. ------- just scroll down and look for my avatar.

Not to be picky...but the main factor for the tires being easy to break loose has more to do with the 650lb-ft of torque. The HP certainly helps, but it's the massive amount of twist that the tires can't handle.

    :)

I think you could get 515 wide nittos and still smoke the tires, the power is just too great for the static coefficient of friction between rubber and asphalt. Learn to control your go fast foot and enjoy
