First time to the track with my Charger Hellcat, all stock on 4 seasons, no traction. Never raced at a track before.
    Best I could do was 12.33 at 121.26, also did a 12.536 at 122.74

Tried a couple different settings All track, suspension street traction control on, 60' times were terrible, best was a 2.215, it was hot and humid out but by the time it started to cool off some guy dumped his oil down the track so they shut it down.

Car weighed in at 4700lbs with driver

    Ordering some MT's this week

Wow, what a difference! You know and can read what the MT's will do for you.

Challenger, A8 , nittos.....1st time down a track-no burn out, track trans, street traction, sport suspension i got a 11.6....worst run of the night was a 12.1 when i spun the heck out of it

my advice(advice from a guy who has only been to a track 1x admittedly)....practice 0-60's at home on a country road......with your times you must be mid 4 seconds....learn how to ease into 1st and 2nd....your foot shouldnt hit the floor until the car hits 3rd gear....

with Nitto's i can get 0-60 in 3.6-3.7 every time.....

sounds like your just flooring it....and thats not going to work.....you need to get a feel for where your foot should be....when i went to the track i left my 0-60 timer on just to see....best i got was a 3.7, worst 4.0...i did worse at the track than on the street.....but i put that down to nervousness.....i was horribly nervous at the track....

nitto's are fairly cheap...just replace the backs, keep the old P0's and use them for the fronts in a few years when they need replacement

what is your best 0-60 right now? (ive youve ever tried)

Best 0 -60 on the street was 4.4, I agree probably way too much throttle off the line.

Buy tires that can hold the power from the start. Dont waste your money in the Nittos if you are going 20" Drag Radials. If you have to roll into the trottle, you are leaving ET on the table..

If you are dead set on sticking with the 20s for the track, then yes. I would recommend going with a 17 or 18" dedicated track set up. The 20" do work really well on the A8 cars though. Good luck!!

ease the pedal down....i never did a 0-60 when i had p0's....so i dont know what stock would do......only nitto's.......maybe i would be 4.4 seconds too if i had tried.....
