At certain speeds I can hear the left rear fenderwell liner flapping. These things are paper thin and the push clips that hold them are loose.

I was cleaning the undercarriage today and looking this the fenderwell liner over. I think I know where it is flapping.

I cleaned the back of the liner with and body metal behind with some alcohol. I scuffed the back of the liner with some sandpaper and then I glued the fender well liner to the metal using some black RTV and a clamp to hold it.

I'll know tomorrow if this works or not....

I hear something coming from my driver rear as well... Might have the same issue.

Sounds like a push clip that is rattling. But don't hear it all the time.

I had a clicking sound on the back wheel on drivers side temp was in the high 90s I stoped got out laid down seen it was plastic wheel well liner I took my hand and bent away from my tire which it bent easily being so hot and solf . I have not heard this noise since . But might have to do something latter when I put larger back tires on .

If you are missing a plastic push rivet or it is missing you can get them at NAPA or AUTOZONE. The snap right in and button up that liner. I had to replace mine after trying to trim my liner for my wider tires. IMAG1452.jpg

Did you have to trim the liner for wider tires I'm planning on getting wider tires latter on been looking at a 10 1/2 wide rim and tire for the rears if you trimed was it much . Guess ill do this when I buy and get tires mounted and put on . I was wondering about having to trim plastic liner any info be helpful what size tire you used and where did you have to trim liner just at back or side and top just like some info please

I seem to remember this issue being mentioned several months ago. Most who had this issue said it was coming from the left/drivers side. Double sided tape, adhesive or adding another push pin seemed to correct the problem.;)

Confident that will do it! Silicone will hold that no prob,as long as it sticks to both substrates.

10.5 wheels.. 305 tires. Minor rubbing in two spots. Simple trim with shears on back and front.
