My HC has a fluttering sound coming from the left side rear wheel well, alot like someone left a piece of paper or a plastic bag up in there somewhere and the wind is catching it. Anyone else heard this? Ideas?

Does it change or go away if you lightly apply the park brake?

I don't have that. If you are able get the rear end up off the ground (jack stands) get under the car and look around the tire with a flashlight.

Could be as simple as some trash got hung up. Maybe the wheel wheel liner (which is paper thin plastic) pulled out and is rubbing. Probably something very simple but you need to get your nose in there to look.

Sometimes, the hellacious burnouts cause a strip of the rubber to peel loose, and slap. Check the tire itself for defects too!

That's going to be tough since you notice it mostly above 70 mph. Our parking brake isnt one you can release without pushing it all the way down.

It's the Plastic wheel well lining. They have vents and at certain speeds and crosswinds they will flutter. I had the same noise on my 2011 392. I took it to the dealer. Nothing they could do. I ended up bending some reinforcement metal ribs behind the well liner and problem solved. I'm sure its just a matter of time before the hellcat makes the same sound. the wheel well liners are exactly the same as the 392. I will be reinforcing the HC also. Hope this helps

No burnouts done (yet) and I couldnt see anything around tbe wheels but I plan to put it up on my dad's lift soon. That should help me see a bit better.

The Challenger has the cheapest, thinest wheel well liners I have EVER seen. I wouldn't be surprised if a stone went right through them...

A thicker, lined liner would make the car so much better.

I've never had to press mine all the way. I just tap and it releases. Hummmmm
