Looking for some information. I would like any Chrysler Mechanic or some how as access to OEM wiring schematics for a fog lamp switch and a non fog lamp switch circuit on any 2015/2016 Challenger please. I have a Hellcat that I recently purchased and I traded my Scat pack in for it. I would like to see if I can install led strip lights under the hood and in engine area with out putting in any type of toggle switch or plunge switch in. I was a GM Master Mechanic for many years and I know a lot of new vehicles have the harness and wires install in them already it is a matter of plug and play with minor modification to be done to the fues panel and wire location in the switch and connectors. So if some one can help that would be great. Also if this can be achieved is the fog circuit part of a Can-bus system? any help would be great
    Thanks

I've got my stick-on LED lamps (2) mounted on underside of hood and wires run from lights down to fuse box but haven't finished because I couldn't decide on how I wanted to control them. Hood switch (there is a ground going back to the BCM {body contol module}), a new hood switch (mounting and set-up is a pain) or local underhood toggle/rocker switch (waterproof).

I soldered and heat shrunk wires and tied them in under the hood blanket. If I remember when I get home, I'll post a few pics I took along the way.

I've got fuse links and various switches (rocker and hood type). Leaning towards under hood rocker so they aren't always on when the hood is open.

Original link posted no longer works...

Guess they figured out we were using it.

I haven't found a replace website yet that has wiring diagram. I'll keep looking.

Well I have not had the chance to do this mod but looking at the schematic when it was on line I am pretty sure it is used for activation of the light not a direct power source saying that I did not confirm the voltage output form the different switch, looks like the fog switch communicates across the bus line and the body control module supplies the power to the light them self. Once I get better weather here I will dive deep into it and follow up on this thread.I will figure a way to get this to work without putting in any aftermarket switches

Hi..i am a new user here. In my case i stick LED lamps mounted on underside of hood and wires run from lights down to fuse box but haven't finished because I couldn't decide on how I wanted to control them. Hood switch , a new hood switch or local underhood toggle/rocker switch .

    Same boat here...
wired and in place..just haven't finished them.

I believe I'm going with rocker switch under the hood. Trying to figure out a water proof box (round film container??) that will protect switch but not look like a fly by night hack job.
