    FOR SALE

Includes all mods below, professionally done (i turn wrenches and build machines all day). Car is flawless, no scratches or dings of any kind. always stored inside. I'm a car nut and my attention to detail is insane.

I'll throw in the OEM rear tires and a second set of Nitto DR too.

    Hello all -

As my first post, I'd like to introduce myself and a bit of my Mopar history. I'm Jon, a mechanical engineer who is fascinated with machines, cars, and all things mechanical.

    My other mopar builds include:

'14 SRT Jeep, Ripp supercharged, lowered, Stainless Works Headers and exhaust. This is my daily.
'08 Viper, full bolt-on's and tuned, sold last fall

The original plan was to get a hellcat when they were introduced, but when I went to order, everything I wanted was "late availability". I ended up finding a sweet viper in my ideal colors so I went with that. A year later, I hated getting in and out of it, my wife hated it, we have 2 kids and it just couldn't be enjoyed. I don't get out much without family so it makes it difficult to own and justify a viper.

    Fast forward to now -

2016 PCP w/ Black Hood, black wheels, no sunroof, A8. We saw a PCP at Frisco Dodge last Monday (7 days ago), they wanted $15k over sticker, I said no, walked away. They quickly haggled to $5k over sticker and told me, "Its just money, whats $5k matter to you". So rude. Bought mine from Tomball Dodge, had it delivered to me by Friday.

    Mods:

    - Green 7139 Drop-In Filter (installed)
    - 180 deg JET thermostat (installed)
    - KW Spring Kit (installed)
    - DSS Aluminum Driveshaft (installed)
    - Nitto 305/35/20 555R's for the rear (installed)
    - V1 + hardwire kit (installed)
    - Metco Upper Pulley, 2.75, 2.85 + stock ring
    - Metco Breather Filter (installed)
    - HHP Crank Pin Kit (installed)
    - HHP ECU, Trinity programmer, and email tuning (installed, need to call josh for tune)
    - DP Accessories Black Lug Nuts LCB3D8HEOBK04020 (installed)
    - Billet Technologies Catch Can (pending)
    - Debadged rear SRT and dodge emblems, front grille SRT emblem. Put SRT hellcat vinyl in center rear, and metal aluminum SRT hellcat emblem in front grille (installed)
    - Weathertech floor mats (installed)
    - OEM Hellcat Cover

I don't plan on doing headers or exhaust. It was a total waste on the Jeep.

Thanks. I was totally floored. They had the sticker inside of it, i told him I would take it, gave him a card for down payment and my DL, and he came back with, "Well, you know there is a market adjustment on this... its $15k." I said, "Hell no, i'll walk out of here so fast." His commentary about the money was just totally rude and unwarranted. I was pretty angry. My wife could see it! They called back for 3 days trying to make a deal. Tomball/Viper Exchange/BJ Motors was a dream to work with, as expected.

    Suspension is installed. Easy.
305s mounted and installed today. Looks and sits great! When she settles, even better.

I was shocked at how thin and weak the control arms seem to be. So different than some other recent vehicles I've been under.

Exhaust and driveshaft are out right now, while doing that, I missed the delivery of the new driveshaft. Doing all of this as a single person isn't easy, but it's coming along. I did have to put the trans in neutral to rotate the driveshaft and get to the other bolts. When I accomplished that and got the exhaust out of the way, it made everything significantly easier.

The exhaust on the hellcat comes out relatively easy, too. Quite a bit of tugging but 6 bolts and a few electrical connectors and boom, out in one piece.

Tomorrow the goal is to do the pulley swap but put the stock ring back on, pin the crank (without pulling the whole front end off! Write up coming for that!), and do the driveshaft.

After that, weathertech mats and a car wash.

Congrats on the Cat... gotta agree with you on the exhaust! If you're gonna spend that kind of money... there are mods that are a better bang for the buck... and you already got a few! ;)

I spent a ton of cash for headers on the jeep, the install was more expensive, and it netted me a bunch of noise. Hate it. It's just a really loud car now, with minimal torque boost and no HP. Wasted dollars in my opinion. I like the look of OEM+, so the hellcat will look at stock as possible.

It's debadged other than the side cats, lowered, but will always have stock wheels and exhaust tips. Just a simple clean look.

Purple was on a whim. Lol. I like the collector and rareness but my goodness.... I'm driving a PURPLE car hahah

None taken! Just didn't know what that meant. I'm not on forums much so excuse my ignorance! Ha.

I just received the trinity programmer and the crank pin kit about 7 minutes ago. No packing list, no ecm. So, I'll contact them tomorrow unless they chime in. All of the parts came in an Amazon box and a zip lock baggy. Didn't present well but I'm sure their stuff is quality.

Also, the washer on the new crank bolt looked like a normal washer, no fancy friction surface or anything. To me, if that is in fact the oe style bolt, I'm glad I'm pinning. I'm a mechanical engineer and do assemblies, steel and plastic for a living, and it just doesn't scream super safe and reassuring. Will know for sure tomorrow
