What is your technique for launching the car?

And are you running drag radials?

My first time out with the car was a whole lot of error with some partial success. The only thing I can contribute is to roll into the throttle on launch to avoid epic wheel spin. I ran bone stock and will likely not go back until I have a DR or better on the car. My car had 28 psi on the stock summer rubber, suspension in street, trans in sport/track and TC off. I launched in 2nd which in hindsight, I should have just tried to pedal it better in 1st. I only got 3 runs at my local track so I def need to head to a place where I can get a few more tries. I'm no stranger to the track and racing but the car would be much more fun with a DR on it.

Thanks Blackbird! Did you shift manually or slide it back into auto when you launched in 2nd?

Believe it or not drive your car, it is the best practice possible. It is a unbelievable rush to do it the first time. If you get into using drag radials protect yourself and invest in a aluminum or carbon fiber driveshaft

I slapped it back into auto once off the line. Good luck.

Thanks MABBRYFL30! Yup, that is why I didn't go right out and by DR's.
