    This shocked me....
    News Shelby GT350 Pricing SVTPerformance

Looks like all the Fordies can thank the Hellcat for the GT350 aggressive price point. The Carbon Fiber version is exact same price almost as a Hellcat. Looks like the competition is stepping up.

Still looks like a Toyota to me though.

It is the only thing that makes sense is to competitively price and try to compete with the performance as well. The problem is good luck getting a GT350R at that price.

Wow, the Shelby starts at $48k?? Color me shocked...

I actually kind of dig the new Mustang, and that Shelby is pretty sweet looking.

I mean, I'm shocked. The Z28 starts at like $72k, and the Shelby R starts ~$10k less??? Of course, start being the operative word here...

They can look like heaps of crap to us, but not everybody is us. This is actually good news. Maybe FCA will get their act together since the competition is near the same price point. And non diehard fans will be lured to check out the others. With the allocation/ADM games the others might grab some sales.

Like I've said before. If any other brand said "Money off for a unfilled Hellcat order", they would be smart

Why is the gas guzzler tax $1300, ours is $1700 and is supposed to be the same all cars?

all different, scat packs are $1000, hellcats $1700, and if I remember correctly the Viper is $2000 .... only 1 MPG average difference between them..

This price point seems right to me.
You guys have to remember the GT350 is the car that slots BETWEEN the Mustang GT and the Shelby GT500
I'm pretty sure the next GT500 will start in the low to mid $60's as it competes with the Hellcat.
But I'm also pretty sure Dodge will charge about $3-5k more for the 2016 Hellcat's too, as with success, come the supply and demand law, which equals charging more for the same thing.

The Hellcat is the top of the line Challenger/Charger, on par with the GT500, not the GT350
The SRT 392 is on the same level of the GT350, hence it's priced similarly, though it's clear the GT350 will run circles around the SRT 392. But again that's too be expected considering it weighs probably 400 lbs less, has what will amount to probably 35-45 hp more (I'm guessing the GT350 will have a power rating in the 520-530 hp range).
The GT350 is just more track focused than the SRT 392.

The Z/28 was just overpriced from the get go. It is a track oriented Camaro, but shouldn't of been priced over and above their top shelf Camaro, the ZL1.
I'm sure GM realized their mistake there, since I'm sure sales of the Z/28 has been low.
The new ZL1 will undoubtedly have the 650 hp ZO6 engine.

i think at that price they will sell tons of them and take some HC sales away......for me i could care less about handling, so its not a car id want....as far as looks goes...i think it looks great....interior looks good too..i like the redesign.....a tleast ford actually changed the look of their new Mustang...not like the Camaro who just shrunk the existing look

Once you add the handling pack, tech package and electronics package your at $64,000 so not a big difference than the Hellcat.

More power to them. Still looks tight on the inside. I love the space my Charger gives me and the family.
