A bone stock Mustang GT with a supercharger and tuning. No suspension upgrades, no brake upgrades, hell... who wants to turn or stop?

You got to buy the car first. The Roush additional cost is $39K. Hell if I put $39K in my Hellcat I could fly to the damn moon.

Reminds me of back in the day when I knew a guy who dropped an aluminum block 302 with a cross ram into a Chevy Vega. Fabulous car on a straight road with a lot of room to stop; death trap otherwise.

No, that's the total cost including the car. The GT is $30,000, the upgrade is another $9,000.

When we are finished, you are a set of tires, a few suspension tweaks and a good driver away from a 10.95 quarter mile (I thought Hellcat could be with DR too)

When I was trying to buy a 2013 GT500 and couldn't find what I was looking for I had several dealers offer the Roush mustangs to me. I agree with some of the previous post in this thread. They are an over priced "tuner" car. I think that most folks would be better off buying a Mustang GT equipped the way that they want it and then put a super charger or better yet, a set of turbos on it with a well done tune. The 15 up GT already has forged internals and is a great motor for forced induction. You'd be money ahead enough to buy a spare motor in case you scattered the one in the car. Properly tuned, you'd likely not have any engine issues, that coyote motor is pretty tough.

"Pull out" motors from wrecks are around in my area for 2500 to 3500 bucks complete.

I ended up with a 14 GT500 and never even considered a Roush. But to each his/her own. We all
have our own taste and that's a great thing about living in the US. We can for the most part do and or get what we want.;)

That is not even a Roush car. That ad is for a Ford dealer that will install a Roush supercharger on a GT....You are just getting a GT with a supercharger on it. I doubt seriously the supercharger will make 727hp in a 5.0...that is almost 300more HP than stock...

With the right tune and supporting mods it could be a contender.
