Just announced they're building 500 of these. It's a truck, but with 700 ponies. Can the new GT500 be far behind?

Personally I don't think Shelby should put their name on a truck. They should just have a motor like this as an option for the Raptor.

Can't wait to see the new Raptor!!!

While certainly cool, it is not really Ford doing it....

I'll be adding a new raptor to the garage this fall. :)

Shelby already has a Mustang they rate over 800 HP. Last time it was tested it ran low 12s in the 1/4.

This is is not Ford doing it.

They can do what ever they want but the HELLCAT has raised the bar ! So the only thing I will tell them is to keep up.

    Ok, let's clarify this.

Ford IS NOT making this. It's Shelby. It's aftermarket. Woopty doo.

not Ford....Shelby did this before w/ last gen F150 too

nothing new here....just a continuation of what Shelby has done in the past...there's a market for 500 $100k shelby trucks and they are going to fill the market

Shelby has never stopped making Shelby Mustangs.....they made a 2015 Shelby Mustang and offer an Automatic w/ it....

Last i hears was Ford was doing a Mach 1 next......that was something actually printed by Ford and not a rumor (it was a rumor by Ford)....they may keep the $$ for using the Shelby name and use one of their own old names for their next performance car
