I was able to notice the lumps when the sun was setting. I will take pictures during the day.

Could be lumps from body or paint filler or clear coat

I have read a thread about a similar problem on a 392 car. There were bumps and dents in multiple places on the car. Some type of metallurgy problem? Maybe some one here remembers the thread title.

I can only notice the lumps when light is on a drastic angle. 20150327_201021.jpg 20150326_205648.jpg

paint and body work on these cars is b-grade at best

had my gt500 and my HC xpel/clear bra'd.....my gt500 is smooth, while the HC with only 350 miles has bumps on it....its got dirt in the paint.......also found a spot on the bottom of my door which looks like its bubbling out rust...like a car from the 1980s....i know its not rust bubbling, its just crap paint/body work

i recommend not looking at your car at these angles and you wont see the bumps...you bought a Dodge...its something you should have expected......if i spend hours looking at mine i can find flaws in the body too

In the background of the first images is my patriot blue quadcab 2500 ram 4x4 and the paint is flawless.

My wife's 2011 black Denali xl all wheel drive has a smooth paint with no problems.

The hellcat is a $60,000 dollar car and the paint is not up to quality. My ram truck was $45,000 and the paint is 10 times better.

That RAM truck also wasn't built at the Brampton factory where it is a well known fact that the paint machines and such there need to be replaced, but still hasn't happened. Considering what they have they do a pretty good job.

How does the paint shop work. Are you able to paint any color from one car to the next (red, black, blue, submlime) or do they try to build a few cars of the same color (even if different models) to avoid messing with the paint system. Just curious how it works. I have no clue.

Good question, one I have wondered about, myself. Hopefully Brampton Builder can give us some feedback.
