Friends Hellcat Challenger leaked oil all over the place

    She started up her cat and it made bad sounds, next thing you know it died and spewed oil all over. The cat already had a clutch replaced and no other service done yet.

    Cat was towed to the dealer.

    That's not good at all…looks like a little wheel spin as well seeing the rubber on the pavement.

    No doubt when these Cats have a hairball it's going to be expensive off warranty. I think that's what's going to do a lot of these machines in prematurely...

    Please let us know what transpires ... My clutch , flywheel and disc was just replaced last week under warranty now it feels way to soft . Those pics definitely have me worried !!

    That would mean the clutch exploded and blew out the sump? No oil in the clutch and that doesnt look like trans fluid. Not likely if it happened just when she started it. Jeez???

    Thats a ton of oil on the ground. In order to spew that much out, had to be something catastrophic for sure.

    Not the clutch per se. I was thinking they didn't put some other component back together correctly while doing the clutch replacement. Too coincidental for me that it explodes right after major work. Just speculation now can't wait to see what happened.
