Just went to my local dealer to take pictures of my front wheel. No itwash not curb checked or rubbed against anything. The more I wash it the more the paint is coming off, and more marking is showing. All the marks if you look at the pictures they go up and down.
Anyone else had this problem ? 20160620_105533.jpg 20160620_105527.jpg

    I am confused?

You are stating that this wheel was not rubbed against anything, yet there are visible scratches everywhere.

I'm also confused. The marks go up and down . If it was rubbed or curb checked the be going around like the wheel does.....I wash it and when I was done this is what I show on my wheel. Like the paint come off and the markings show up......

You rubbed that curb really good. I would have expected to see some scuffs on the tire too.

You didn't by chance take it though an automatic car wash?

Looks just like one of those long bristle covered tire scrubbing rollers got it...hell on wheels that have low profite tires. poodle-1.png

Nope. Never take it to automatic car wash. Always wash it and then drying it out. Most times its just been hand wash

I'm hope the factory will cover it under warranty. I paid 70+ for it. I want it replaced. If it was my fault I would be ok with it, but is not. I'll wait and see what they say.... I'm not happy

I'm sure if I done that all the wheels be the same and not just one. The only thing I'm thinking is when the vehicle get deliver the have a plastic cover with a ring on the wheel to prevent damage. I have no idea what would cause that....just not happy

If I did yes. But I didn't. I would also expected to see the marks go around like the wheel. Not up and down

With the utmost respect, it is not a factory defect...unless you drive sooo fast that the paint is literally flying off the wheel. Its car wash or driving related damage. If the dealership hooks you up, its cause they are being nice guys.

So you saying if you go to the car wash and next thing you know your hood paint peeled of and has scratches under the paint its the car wash fault ?
