also looking into signs and lines by stretch....i know they have the experience

the more i see them wrapped the more i like it...ill be throwing away the 1/3rd clear bra i have on the hood for it...

IMO, it just ruins the car. It reminds me of my Bodyshop days when we would install a new hood before it went to the paint shop...not my thing.

    you dont like the look?

i always liked the look, just not dealing with the painted version...im guessing the wrapped version will hold up like the stickers on the side of my car do....

Yeah.. Just not a fan. It looks like an afterthought. I would have them go into the top of the front bumper also, like some of the guys here have done. But, no, I wouldnt even consider it.

saw a camaro with it done yesterday and it finally sold me...looked good coming down the road at me....im starting to feel its part of a HC.....and if i dont like it i simple tear it off some day and still have a new hood underneath....i do agree it looks a bit like an after thought w/o it going all the way to the grill like the 1970 TA.......but then again in 1970 the hood didnt have that part in front of the hood either....i would get the hood only and leave that extra green part since if i were to ever tear it off it would show where the sun bleached it

    i heard $300-400 range?

I think the 1LE Camaros came with that hood standard a couple years ago... And your right, do the wrap so you can peel it off when you dont like it. It actually doesnt look horrible on the sublime cars...

3 posts and your already coming around to my way of thinking.......i talked u into it....remember i already have the AAR thing going, so it will complete the look....i have the day off so i will be making some phone calls..

now i have to remove the SUPERCHARGED on the hood and the clear bra....i assume a blow dryer will remove them and then some bug/tar remover?

Go easy on the bug and tar remover.. I used an eraser wheel in my body shop days. The bra should come right off. You may need a heat gun to get everything warm enough, dont know if a blow dryer gets hot enough. Go slow...

And the AAR was a Plymouth, TA was the Challenger. Your car is going to have an identity crisis..;)

Ralph Gillis said the HC front end has a bit of Plymouth styling in it....i can see it (just a bit around the grill area).......i always liked the AAR side strobe.......it was a 51/49 choice between getting the AAR or TA side stripe.......

contacted guy who did my clear bra...he said clothes steamer, but recommended letting the hood wrap guys take it off instead.....i got a recommendation on a guy.....i need to bring the car to him though for a price...was given a rough price of $300-600.....HC is up on the lift, so ill wait for a week or so to swap cars and bring it in...
