Just got off the phone with a dealer in Texas, said he's going to get 4 more allocations for March and he would call me as soon as he gets an allocation. Now all I have to do is get my money back from that stupid dealer in Montana. And he told me that if I stuck to montana dealer I would get my car in mid 2016. With him only about 11 weeks. So I'm hoping for the best and I wish everyone else waiting on their cat a good luck!

Interesting. The new allocation system is 1 per dealer per month.

You should believe what the dealer says about allocation when you move from BX to D status or above. :) Unfortunately the customer has no way of knowing what, if any, allocation(s) the dealer in question truly has other than asking and hoping they are both honest and actually have a damn clue about it.

Maybe the dealer connect screens have not been updated for the new allocation rules but I do know that I saw the dealers allocation screen at my dealer and it showed 4 allocations for march...

I'll just live in my delusional hope for a little while before wading back in the dealer cesspool again.

If it sounds to good to be true......IT IS!!!!!!
There is NO WAY the dealer you spoke with already knows he is getting 4 allocations in March. The latest criteria has been published by RS. Until we hear something different from the Secret Squirrel meeting that supposedly happened on Monday, that dealer is hooking you in just like the other dishonest dealers.

If this is true, then I retract my last statement. But from everything I've read here in the past, I did not think dealers knew this early in advance if they would have future allocations for even the next month.

I do not know anything for certain. I have another thread where I talk about my order experience yesterday where (supposedly) an allocation that showed on Saturday disappeared by Monday afternoon. In the course of it the GM had me come behind the counter and was showing me the dealerconnect pages. I could see his current status as well as a column for Feb and Mar allocations. It had one in progress, 0 for Feb, and 4 for mar. Whether its true or if it will change, I do not know.

After the last 2 weeks of searching I've decided to let hope carry me for a little while.
My brain is tired, the salesmen have me feeling a little slimy, and my passion while not down to an ember, needs time to flame up.

I agree as I am also FRIED mentally. For me doing the deal, pricing, deposit...have been the easy part. The hard part is understanding allocations, VOns and Vins and then waiting for 4-6 months. On the other hand, I could see my cat making a great x-mas gift for late 2015. So many of us are used to going in, doing the deal and driving home same day. Can be done with the HC, but you will be required to pay the impatient tax...also fondly known as an ADM. Hello from the back of the line/VONBX...lol

    No need for words.
we are probably close enough in line that we could shake hands and nod to each other.

First to whine (bitching is ok) has to buy the beer while the other holds his place. :D

Hell, just saw the VON/BX. might as well yell. ..

My TX dealer has 17 in B.S. status.......uh I mean BX status......guess who's #17..... In discussions with SRT this morning there's little to no chance I will see my order this model year...they're building ~15 or so a day or ~500/month so unless something changes with allocations and/or production there's little chance more than 25% of the orders for this year will be filled.
