Got one for Christmas. Going thru the instructions and taking practice video was thinking if I could record live Performance Pages to review data. Taking videos of my computer screen is not encouraging. Anyone tried to record live screen in car?

I don't see a reason it wouldn't work... The only question is how do you attach the GoPro.

I fitted the head ban around the passenger head rest. Have to see how it works with vibration of driving.

I got one too. Waiting for race Capture to integrate the OBII port device and wifi. Then it will show speed, tech, gear, g force, location...anything we want with the goPro video.

I also got one but have not found the right mount the capture the live gauges. I bought the goose neck mount but it don't work so well and also while mounted to the headrest post the seatbacks will vibrate which makes for a crappy video. Im still looking 4 answers here from you guys as well as on my own.

...Sunroof? Suction mount to the sunroof. If not I was thinking of putting the head strap mount tightly around center console cover, as putting it o my head is uncomphy in just a few minutes. Gotta get back to using them though...

I just use Track Addict on my Android phone. With an OBDLink LX Bluetooth to my phone I can take in car video just great with overlaid engine speed, vehicle speed, g, gear, throttle, brake, etc. The software will also allow a wireless link to another camera if you want 2 views. To play it back on a PC with overlays I think I need Race Render but I haven't gone that far yet. I use it more as a tool when I'm at the track between sessions to see what lap was my fastest and where the differences in lap time came from.

Finally uploaded a short video of some laps around Waterford Hills I did in the Scat Pack in July. This is using Track Addict (free) for Android, my Galaxy S4 with a Ram windshield mount, Race Render ($40) for my PC, and OBDLinkLX plugged into my OBD port during the session.

What can the other apps do that I'm missing?

Great Video, looks like fun! I want to record all the gauges on the Performance Pages. Need to see boost, IA temps, AF etc. Hopefully Go Pro will focus on dash so I can read them after a run.

OK, yes. You can do multi screens with what I have. 2nd camera to show the rear view and a 3rd to show your gauges. ☺
