And new dust free pads! Big thanks to Tammie for the hookup on the Nitto 315s! Going to hit the strip on Friday hopefully.

Those 315's mounted on the stock 9.5" wheel? I assume so from your pic. Looks good. I also changed to the Powerstop linings. Dust was driving me nuts.

Did you get the pads through Speedlogix?

Yup! The dust is just insane...

No. Got a gift card for Amazon and got them off there.

Yeah I can't believe the amount of dust on the stock pads.
I've had Hawk Pads before and some other on prior cars that dusted heavily too.

    Was thinking of trying EBC.

My issue is I also hate brakes that squeak or squeal, so who has recommendations on a good HP pad that won't diminsh stopping power too much, but will cut the dust levels way down?

Also did you guys change the pads yourself? Was it easy or are these Brembos a PITA to change?

    Thanks

Just curious why didn't you get the "extreme" pads instead of the "sport" ones?
There website seems to think even the Extreme pads don't dust, and they surely can't be as bad as our stock pads.

    Thanks for the input.
I love it when they are designed to change easy. My BMW was a PITA to change the pads.

The question is then, with the PowerStop, go with the Sport or the Extreme.
Based on their explanation, either would seem to be fine for our cars, but based on their full description, the Hellcat is a high horsepower, high performance car that would define the use of the Extreme.
However, I probably won't be pushing the brakes in this car. To me this car is about the look, sound, and acceleration, not the rigors of track use, where the Extreme pads are probably designed for.
But stopping distance is also important, so if I lose a couple feet of stopping distance from 70 mph, it would be ok, but if I lose 10 feet, well I'd rather go with the Extreme, even if it has a tiny bit more dust than the Sport. If the Extreme's dust only 10% more than the Sport, than that may be what I'd rather go with.

you talking about the z26? Lot of folks here in other threads mentioned the z23 were a better option for our cars and very low brake dust. So far, I'm liking the results. Stopping power appears to be just as good, but I'm not tracking the car or anything

    Yes the Z26's
But I have a feeling why everyone is getting the Z23 instead....I can't find the front pads in the Z26's
BTW, the Z26's are defined as for high performance, high power, modern muscle cars. That defines our cars perfectly.
However, if they don't make the Z26's for our cars fronts, then the Z23's would be the best choice I guess.

Yes, eventually I am going to change my brake pads. I hate wasting money on something that isn't broke though so I will keep scrubbing my wheels until I need new pads. LOL
