That was a waste of money. You will lose power. Best intake is stock so far. There are countless threads about this.

I don't completely agree, me car feels faster ( butt dyno ) Plus a buddy and I got on the freeway at the same time coming back from a car show and I inch away from him,, Plus if you do mods, you will need more air.....

They are serious about the performance claims. Sorry that you didn't find out in a more diplomatic manner. I didn't buy one but it's said that the company is pretty good about returns. Stay with the stock set up until a part is proven to be beneficial. Good luck on getting your Cat.

I am not joking. i have no first hand experience with this intake but historically, dodge puts a lot of engineering into these things and it is really hard to beat stock. Believe it or not, back in the old days, 1960s and 1970s, the cast iron exhaust manifolds used to out perform a lot of aftermarket headers.

Like I said, not joking but I don't really know either.

You might check the wheel threads but I think 305s are as wide as you can go on stock rims.

I have an AFE on mine that I bought used, ET on the DID has not changed over stock and the SC sounds a whole lot better.
I have no choice but to keep mine as I have no paperwork .
So, OP, don't hate on yourself too bad

Don't even try to put 315's on those 9.5" wheels. If you do, they are going to to look like you are a fool because they will balloon too much and may be dangerous. To top it off, since they balloon you will not and cannot get their effective thread to the road. Better to try the 305 on the 9.5" rims, those have proven to work and work well. Better on wider wheels but they will work.

OP, if you decide to tune the car down the road, the intake you bought will do well in getting you some additional power. Airflow mods on this car have little effect without tuning. You will get a more pronounced supercharger whine, which to some is enough to warrant the purchase. The aFe intake has been tested to flow more air than stock, but without adding more fuel, you really won't see the added benefit. This is where the tuning comes in. I have the BWoody intake on mine, and it made the supercharger whine a lot more pronounced. After hemituner worked his magic on it...holy sh*t it's a new animal. I would expect similar results if you tuned with your aFe. If not, just enjoy the added supercharger whine.
