Gotta admit, that flat plane 5.2 sounds amazing (not quite as awesome as our Hellcat's but still amazing).
Seems like it's a bit of a handful however fishtailing all over the place (that might be a bit intentional at first on the burnout however, not sure). But he's still sawing at the wheel at every turn it seems.
I'm pretty sure this car will chew up the Camaro Z/28 on a track.
The new ultimate track car for what $60K or so. Probably need to buy a GT-R or a ZO6 at $100k to get a car that will run with it at a track.

Of course the GT350 will still lose to a Hellcat in any contest of straight line speed, and that's probably where you'll be more often than not when you run into one. :)
Hellcat and a GT350 would be an awesome two car ownership experience.

Yeah,.......I was looking at that too. I don't think the fishtailing was from real. Looked like a lot of wheel turning there. A track car "should be" able to handle that. Just my opinion.

It's a great looking car, I wouldn't mind adding it to the collection.

The only thing missing from that advertisement was the "Have you driven a Ford.....lately?" jingle at the end.

Don't get me wrong, I love the car. I own a late model Mustang.
I just call BS on the car fishtailing like that.

Yeah that exhaust note is intoxicating! Except for the GT500's this is the only Mustang I'd be interested in actually owning.

Like I said, it may have been intentional on Ben Collin's part....but it's a race track too so intentionally fishtailing a car at the start seems unusual too. He may of just been having fun.
But watch the rest of the video too, every time he's at a corner and getting on the gas, he's fighting with the steering wheel quite a bit to keep it going straight. So it may have a tendency to get loose in the rear quite easily too.

At the end of the video he puts up his hand and makes a circular motion at his head, generally the sign of "crazy"
He probably meant that in the best way possible, but he did seems almost exhausted afterwards. Which again, might have been a good thing or maybe he meant, "crazy, this thing is a lot of work"
I'm gonna favor the "crazy what an absolute blast this car is" version, but it's hard to tell with his fishtailing at the start, sawing at the steering wheel back and forth at every corner they show, and then his "crazy" hand motion and taking a deep breath afterward, at the end of the video.

Eitherway, I'm sure the GT350 is a blast.
I personally wouldn't pay the extra for the R version, as I wouldn't track it enough to justify.
But I'm sure the GT350 with the Tech Package is capable enough on a track anyway.
The difference is probably as small as the Boss 302 vs the Boss 302 Laguna Seca version was.

I just don't have the need or time to enjoy both a Hellcat and the GT350. I'd barely put 2k miles a year on each.
As it is, I'll probably barely get 4-5k miles a year on the Hellcat.

If I were a gambling man I'd say he was warming the tires. Completely intentional.

That car is pretty sinister.. and NO WAY that was unintentional. Would love to hear that GT350 exhaust in comparison to the Hellcat. Different sound, both Intoxicating in there own ways

I totally agree the Hellcat and GT350 would be perfect compliments in the garage. The differences on the front half are subtle on the GT350 vs the regular Mustang, but somehow the GT350 just looks much better and meaner. Best exhaust note out there other than the Hellcat.
